What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Using our Contact Forms and Signing Up for Holistic Ambassadors Email List
Holistic Ambassadors uses WPForms to create and manage contact forms.
Visitors have the option to sign up for our email list when they visit the website and/or send a direct message through the Contact Us Form. This includes gathering information related to your name and email. When providing this information you are consenting for your name and email to be retained and used for providing communications about the mission and work of Holistic Ambassadors.
Individual messages sent through the contact forms will be retained for no more than one year after submission.
Comments Made on WordPress Sites
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
WordPress’s Media Policy
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
WordPress and Cookies
If you leave a comment on a WordPress managed site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit a WordPress login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, WordPress will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article through WordPress, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Holistic Ambassadors uses JetPack Plugin to gather the following information:

- Search Engine used by visitors (ie. Google, Bing, etc.) and the corresponding search phrase (ie. thinking errors, examples of Jesus resting, etc.)
- Number of Followers through social media plate-forms
This information is gathered to monitor audience growth and engagement including determining most popular content, most effective means for finding Holistic Ambassadors, and is used to help inform future content and additional strategies for audience growth.

If you request a password reset for a WordPress Account, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data
Name and email addresses provided through contact forms will be retained indefinitely unless user choses to unsubscribe from email list. Individual messages sent through the contact forms will be retained for no more than one year after submission.
WordPress Policy for Retaining Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Holistic Ambassadors uses Akismet Anti-Spam Plugin for all contact forms and messaging.
Akismet Anti-Spam collects information about visitors who comment on Holistic Ambassadors. The information collected typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
Additional information
How we protect your data
All offline information and documents collected for Holistic Ambassadors is stored on a private laptop, which requires a password or fingerprint scan to access. Only the owner of Holistic Ambassadors has access to the laptop. All online information is accessed through a WordPress Administration account and can only be access by the owner of Holistic Ambassadors.
What data breach procedures we have in place
If for any reason the owner of this website believes personal information has been inappropriately accessed, the owner will contact the affected persons and notify them of what information may have been breached.
